The Office of General Counsel is responsible for coordinating the legal affairs of all diocesan parishes, schools, departments and corporations. It administers diocesan legal affairs by providing professional and timely advice and services, resulting in reduced legal liability and risk exposure for the diocese. The General Counsel’s Office provides oversight for all obligational contractual documents or arrangements and serves as diocesan liaison to external legal resources as needed.
