Mission Advancement focuses on resourcing and supporting parishes, diocesan offices, and related entities through data management, evangelization, parishioner engagement, and stewardship.
Annual Appeal
This team spearheads the Bishop’s Annual Appeal (BAA). The BAA is a yearly effort that enables the Diocese of Raleigh to fund a variety of vital programs and ministries throughout eastern NC.
Chief Data Officer
The Chief Data Officer is responsible for the organization-wide data and information strategy, governance, operations, and policy development. The CDO oversees data operations management by enabling data usability, availability, and efficiency and uses data-driven decisions to achieve organizational change.
Data Operations
This team identifies and implements efficient ways to organize, store, and analyze data with attention to security and confidentiality. The Data Operations Department maintains data analysis procedures, data governance, and databases. The goal of the department is to ensure the flow of structured and unstructured data in a timely and secure manner to, from, and within the Diocese of Raleigh and tertiary data software systems.
Stewardship and Engagement
This team is dedicated to equipping parish leaders and providing ministry support in parishioner engagement, offertory improvement, data management, capital campaigns, parish grants, and special collections.
