Position Summary:
The Principal will be the instructional and academic leader of the school, collaborating with fellow administrators, parents, faculty and staff to ensure a school environment and instructional program that is aligned with the Cristo Rey Atlanta Jesuit mission and vision. Working together with the President and Corporate Work Study Director, the Principal ensures that highly effective instruction is taking place, and that the social/emotional well-being of students is maintained to facilitate a safe, productive, and enthusiastic learning environment.

Minimum Requirements:
- Master’s degree in an educational field
- Minimum 5 years in school site leadership related to School Administration, Education, Religious Education
Preferred Qualifications
- Teaching experience with a deep understanding of effective pedagogy
- Experience as an instructional leader and skilled in leading and mentoring teachers, especially in the areas of teaching methodology and classroom management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with faculty, students, parents, and business partners
- Demonstrated commitment to working with diverse communities
- Open and flexible problem solver ready to lead the academic team towards excellence and rigor in a nontraditional school environment and schedule
- Understands and embraces the Jesuit charism, as well as the mission of Cristo Rey schools
- Practicing Catholic preferred, but not required
- Spanish speaking is a plus, but not required
Supervises: Two Assistant Principals, two Deans, Director of Guidance Counseling, Director of College Counseling, Learning Specialist, and Athletic Director. Cristo Rey Atlanta Jesuit has approximately 30 teaching faculty.
