  • Grief & HOPE Support Group, Holy Family Catholic Church, Hillsborough – Ongoing monthly grief support for adults grieving the loss of a loved one. Meeting on second Tuesdays from 6-7 p.m. Contact cynthia@hfcch.org.
  • Seasons of Hope, Holy Name of Jesus Cathedral, Raleigh – 6-week program, which offers the grieving person an opportunity to find healing and spiritual growth with the support of a faith community. Meets on the Sacred Heart Campus at St. Monica Center (121 N Tarboro St, Raleigh, NC 27610). Contact Sister Colleen to confirm dates and times: respectlife@hnojnc.org.
  • Seasons of Hope, St. Eugene Catholic Church, Wendell – A six-week series that meets on Tuesday mornings at 9:30 a.m. Contact the parish office to confirm the day and time: (919) 365-71146.
  • St. Mark, Wilmington offers grief support throughout the year. “Grieving with Hope” is a Catholic based program that meets bi-weekly on Wednesday evening. For exact dates and details, contact deacon.jolly@stmarkcc.net, or call 910-297-4875.
  • Seasons of Hope, St. Thomas More, Chapel Hill – Grief group support consisting of 6 sessions occurring 2-3 times per year
  • Sacred Heart Bereavement Ministry, Fayetteville* – 6-week grief support program and luncheons every 2-3 months
  • St. Raphael Grief Support Group, Raleigh* – Bereavement support with guest speakers and monthly social luncheons; contact Connie Reynolds, 410-903-2677.
  • Coffee and Conversation Grief Support, St. Andrew Catholic Church, Apex – A blend of sharing, social time, and topics in grief, this group provides a safe and encouraging place to receive support from others who know what it is like to lose someone you love. Contact grief@saintandrew.org.
  • St. Patrick Catholic Church Grief Support, Fayetteville – Grief support from 13 week video series
  • Grief Group, Catholic Community of St. Francis of Assisi, Raleigh - 7 week program using the handbook “A New Day” to facilitate discussion
  • St. Michael the Archangel, Cary – 8-week grief support program offered 2 times a year.
  • Eternal Rest - Four 30-minute episodes address large-scale questions about death from a Catholic perspective. The series takes viewers on a journey from death’s origin to Christ’s final victory at the Cross and Resurrection.
